Its hard enough to get into a healthy routine. So, here were taking little steps that don’t overwhelm us!
One of these steps is adding a new drink mix to our morning routine. Usually our go to would have been coffee, but as we now know, coffee on an empty stomach is a no no. We have compiled a list of a few of our favorites, maybe this will inspire you to try it yourself or let us know your morning routine!
The first we tried out was Apple cider Vinegar, honey and lemon. Simply add 1 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar to 1 tsp of honey and one tbsp of lemon juice to warm water and sip while you’re prepping yourself for the morning! This one is said to help with appetite control, digestion, immune system and skin. Two of these is where we really saw results and that was with immune system. It really helped to clear up a few colds around here! And skin was clearer after a week of drinking it! Needless to say this is one we will keep on our routine.
Next up is the magical powers of Turmeric. It is a spice that when taken has medicinal advantages such as its an anti-inflammatory, an antioxidant, it lowers the risk of heart disease and so much more. There is no reason not to try it because of all its benefits. Sometimes it may be hard to deal with the strong taste so we suggest trying this recipe; 1 cup of warm water mixed with 1/2 tsp of turmeric, 1 lemon, a pinch of cinnamon and a little squeeze of honey. People have been taking turmeric for years, so why not take a leaf?
Our go to if were running late is Green Tea with Lemon. It is very easy to get a hold of at any coffee shop, if you’re running low on time. Green tea has great benefits of antioxidants, it aids with heart disease, oral health, blood pressure and many other things. The lemon also helps with taste and holds its own benefits.
Simply by adding this to your morning routine it can have so many benefits to your health….and who doesn’t need that?
